THE HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT (HIPAA)
COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES OF SAFE-TCARE MANUFACTURING, INC.

It is the intent of Safe-TCare Manufacturing, Inc. to implement safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality and integrity of patients associated with facilities with which we do business as a medical equipment supplier. Whereas we act as a business associate to numerous healthcare facilities we issue this statement of actions that have been implemented and enforced.

HIPAA TRAINING AND CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
At Safe-TCare Manufacturing, Inc. all staff, associates, and employees have been fully trained in HIPAA Policies and Procedures and are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement which is kept in HIPAA compliance files.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION COMPLIANCE
Safe-TCare Manufacturing, Inc. maintains and uses electronic interoffice communications to transfer billing and account data. Safe-TCare Manufacturing has complied fully with all the requirements of the HIPAA Security Regulations, 45 C.F.R. Part 164,302 et seg. All electronic systems have applied all technical and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the electronic Protected Health Information that it creates, receives, maintains or transmits on behalf of the all Health Facilities.

INTRAOFFICE DISPOSAL OF DESCRETIONARY PAPERWORK
It is the policy of Safe-TCare Manufacturing, Inc. to destroy by double shredding all discrete and confidential papers being disposed of.

While it is not the nature of our business to have or pursue confidential patient information any information given for the carrying out of business activities is treated as classified and follows HIPAA compliance to the best of Safe-TCare's ability.
